Distinct Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a well-established, nationwide company to assist in the search for an interim Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a short-term contract role (three to six months).
The successful candidate will be expected to start at short notice. The role is located on the outskirts of Leicestershire, with the benefit of a hybrid working arrangement—requiring just two days a week in the office and the remainder working remotely.
In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the budgeting and forecasting process across the organisation, collaborating closely with various departments and senior stakeholders to ensure robust financial planning. Your ability to build strong relationships will be essential, as you work to provide strategic, data-driven insights that will directly support operational decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive budgeting and forecasting services
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders
- Analysing financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Playing a pivotal role in financial reporting and cost management, ensuring the business remains financially agile during this critical period.

About You:
We are looking for candidates who are either fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have significant experience and qualifications by experience (QBE) in financial management. A proven track record in budgeting (multi-site), forecasting, and financial reporting is essential, along with advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
