Head of Finance - Full-Service Marketing Agency - Leicestershire

Harmonic are delighted to work on a retained basis with one of the most established and beloved full-service agencies in the midlands. The agency has a loyal roster of client relationships and a consistent track record of growth including during the covid era.

Following a re-structure, the agency is looking to hire a Head of Finance who will join the SLT. You will act as a business partner for the Managing Director, playing your part to ensure the agency continues its prolonged growth phase whilst increasing profitability and providing transparent financial information. The agency is looking to undergo B Corp certification and is especially keen to meet candidates who share their desire to balance purpose and profit.

About the Role:

You'll be instrumental in guiding the agency through this next phase of growth and helping to prepare for a possible event in the coming years. The role will also be broad and hands on, you will have a Finance Assistant and portfolio CFO to assist with all things transactional and top level strategic, however this is a role your sleeves up and get stuck in opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the business, ensuring transparency and stability.
  • Collaborate closely with the MD, helping to drive the business forward, focusing on profitability, legacy, and future growth.
  • Manage contracts for services and bolster relationships with clients.
  • Handle international operations across five currencies
  • Lead the finance admin team, enhance systems and processes, and oversee the adoption of new tools like Synergist
  • Take ownership of ISO accreditation, data security, and HR processes, including the implementation of SAGE HR.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our outsourced financial platforms
  • Take ownership of management accounts, month end and variance analysis

Salary:

£65,000 - £80,000 + (Private healthcare + 25 days holiday + L&D budget
