Interim Finance Business PartnerLocation: Leicestershire - Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 home Duration: 6mnths+ (inside IR35 via Umbrella)We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner (FBP) to join our Leicstershire based client at a very exciting time! This role will also include assisting with financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This is not your typical accounting role, and there is plenty of scope for making significant improvements. The right candidate will be comfortable partnering with the business and have the technical expertise to get into the detail to ensure integrity of the numbers.Key Responsibilities will include:Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide support for budgeting and forecasting Month-End Analysis & Commentary: Analyse monthly results, consolidate them into group reports, and provide detailed commentary.Spend Variance Reporting: Report back on business spend variance to help control spend as the business approach year-end.Budget Rebuild: Potential to redesign the current budget structure and challenge underlying assumptions.Develop Insightful Analysis: Enhance commentary and analysis from margins to EBITDA, ensuring the business has actionable insights.Cash Forecasting: Assist in developing stronger tools for cash flow forecasting.Problem-solving/Investigations: Dive into existing processes & understand potential gapsRequirements for the role:Technical Expertise: Hands-on accounting experience including FP&A plus process improvements expertise.Business Partnering: Experience of business partnering closely with different stakeholders, provide insight, and influence decisions.Flexibility: This is a fluid role, and the responsibilities will evolve as you get further into the detailQualification: Ideally a finance qualification or equivalent If you are ready to roll up your sleeves, bring fresh perspectives, put your investigative accounting skills to the test, and support our client in refining some of their financial processes, please get in touch.
