An established firm of accountants based in Leicester are looking to hire a job vacancy for a mixed Bookkeeper and Payroll position, to work out of their office in Leicester due to expanding workloads and growth of the firm. The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates and the salary is dependent on experience.

PAYROLL DUTIES -
- Deliver exceptional payroll services
- Join our payroll team and work with a diverse portfolio of clients, in a wide range of sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete multi payroll processing for clients covering weekly, 4 weekly, monthly and annual payrolls
- Undertake payroll-related duties including tax coding, student loans and attachment of earnings.
- Preparation of BACs for salary payments.
- Prepare and upload pension contribution/new member schedules across a range of pension providers.
- RTI processing/balancing payroll figures and year end submissions.
BOOKKEEPING DUTIES -
- Deliver exceptional services as a Client Bookkeeper.
- Support our bookkeeping team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients, from sole traders to limited companies with various levels of turnover and in a wide range of sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bookkeeping tasks for clients
- Bank postings and reconciliation
- Prepare, review and submit VAT returns
- Post journals for payroll
- Detailed analysis of debtors and creditors reconciliation
- Liaise with clients and HMRC.
