We are looking for an experienced General Manager who has managed hotels for at least 5 years and understands the industry. You will be a General Manager who understands the finances and has good knowledge of budgets, forecasts and P&Ls and how to achieve growth in all areas. You will have good people skills and be able to lead and inspire a team. As General Manager, you will be the face of the hotel and have exceptional customer service skills.
As General Manager you will have a good knowledge of the local market and of your competitors, with a strong commercial instinct. You will have connections and an understanding of hospitality in the local area.
In practical terms, you will ensure the hotel is maintained and well kept and that all Health and Safety aspects are compliant.
It will be beneficial if you have pre-opening or relaunch experience and can manage refurbishments.
As well as the rooms side, you will be a General Manager who has exceptional knowledge of both F&B and functions.
