The HR Team at Macildowie is currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join their team

This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the Head of HR in various areas of the HR function. If you thrive on variety, this position offers a dynamic work environment with exposure to HR, payroll, and recruitment responsibilities across our sites in Leicester, Ireland, and UAE.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with an element of practicial advisory exposure, looking for that next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • General HR, payroll, and recruitment administration.
  • Preparing HR documentation including employment contracts, offer letters, job descriptions, and leaver documentation.
  • Onboarding staff and coordinating the probationary period.
  • Inputting and maintaining records in the HR system.
  • Updating policies and procedures.
  • Managing and reporting on annual leave, sickness, and producing HR-related reports as required.
  • Assisting with the processing of the monthly payroll and P11D returns.
  • Administering and maintaining employee benefits schemes (e.g., Simply Health).
  • Supporting management with day-to-day basic HR queries.
  • General HR administration.
  • Assisting the Head of HR with various projects and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong HR Administrator background
  • Some level of HR Advisory exposure would be desirable
  • HR System knowledge
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality given the nature of the position.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
