Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join their Corporate, Commercial, Banking Team on a full-time basis.

This friendly team are looking for a Paralegal to join them and provide support with a variety of tasks and duties.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Drafting and completing basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision
  • Drafting documents and letters of advice to clients under supervision
  • Setting up and managing envelopes in DocuSign
  • Sorting out formatting and cross-referencing in documents
  • Preparing payment forms and data room management
  • Researching legal issues on behalf of other fee earners
  • Engrossing, collating and redacting documents and preparing document bundles for fee earners as required
  • Taking responsibility for administrative tasks, i.e. coordinating the administration of seminars
  • Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing them on to the relevant fee earner
  • The efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving
  • Liaise with clients via telephone and email
  • Attend client meetings both in person and on the telephone, as requested by the fee earner
  • Attend meetings and take notes as required
  • Undertaking any other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness and confidence to use unfamiliar IT software and systems
  • Be results focused and driven to deliver
  • A good eye for detail
  • Good organisation and time management abilities
  • Excellent team player
  • Motivated with a strong commitment to learning
  • Prior paralegal experience within the area of law would be advantageous
