Join Leicester's Child in Need Team and help support children and families through vital stages of care. You'll progress Child Protection and Child in Need plans, manage care proceedings, and deliver direct work that genuinely changes lives.

Your Role
  • Complete assessments and direct work with children

  • Coordinate multi-agency meetings and referrals

  • Manage care proceedings and court reports

  • Practice within a trauma-informed and Signs of Safety framework

  • Maintain accurate records and plan for long-term outcomes

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

  • Experience in safeguarding, family support, and child protection

  • Confident in complex case management and partnership working

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and family-led planning
