The Company:

Our client is an established Manufacturer of Point of Sale, Furniture and Fixtures providing high end products to some huge companies.

The MIG Welder/Fabricator Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Welder (MIG) to join a company based in Leicester, the client manufactures products for the point of sale industry.

  • Weld sub assembles and main assembles
  • Set machine to achieve all weld requirements in line with specification and coding
  • Weld parts to a specific time frame adhering to business plan
  • Follow all company H&S processed and procedures, including environmental policies.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by direct management

The Candidate:

  • Extensive MIG welding skills and experience
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Experience working with mild steel (thickness ranging from 1mm - 20mm)
  • Follow all company H&S processed and procedures, including environmental policies.
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Personal qualities to include, good time keeping, communication skills, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive!
