Robertson Recruitment is seeking a confident welder for a reputable sheet metal company located in East Goscote.
Candidates should have some experience in fabrication and be skilled in TIG and MIG welding.
This position offers a temp to perm contract with the opportunity to become a supervisor after successfully completing the probation period.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 06:00am to 14:00pm and 14:00pm to 22:00pm.
The salary is competitive, and benefits include free parking, a permanent contract after 12 weeks, and pay reviews after 3 months.

Robertson Recruitment are looking for a welder for a well known sheet metal company based in East Goscote. This candidate must be a confident welder who has some experience in fabrication too. This will be a temp to perm contract and the chance to become a supervisor after you have passed your probation.

Welder working hours

Monday to Friday. 06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm.

Welder responsibilities

TIG and MIG welding skills (desirable)
Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools
Finishing, fettling, and grinding own work
Reading from engineering drawings
Thin gauge metal work

Welder skills

Knowledge of specific metal processes
Eye for quality
Basic maths skills
Knowledge of hand tools
