Assembly Operator

Part Time/25 hours a week

Location - Near Lewes

Salary -
£15,468 increasing up to £15,938 after a successful probation

Shift  - Monday – Friday 15:00 – 20:00

  
Summary
Our client is a wide world leading Manufacturer in the public transport industry, All design and development and the majority of production, is carried out in their excellent working environment based in Lewes.
  
Growing with speed our client have had significant increase in sales over the last 3 years which is having a direct impact on the operational Teams, there for they are looking for a Assembly Operator with Enthusiasm and hard working ethics.
  
  
About the Role
Our Client  is growing fast, they are in need of an Assembly Operator to help build their products with high quality and efficiency. You'll work in a team, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to our success.

  
Key Responsibilities

- Assemble products accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain quality standards.

- Follow safety and housekeeping guidelines.

- Work flexibly and support other production tasks when needed.

- Keep your workspace organized and tools well-maintained.

  
What We’re Looking For

  • Attention to detail & strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Experience with hand tools (crimp tools, wire strippers, powered screwdrivers).
  • Soldering, cable preparation, and crimping experience.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
     

  
Bonus Skills
    -  Product inspection/testing experience.
    -  IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training (Cable & Wire Harness Standards).

  
Health & Safety
    -  Follow all safety procedures.
    - Keep your workspace safe and report hazards.
    -  Use handling equipment (e.g., pallet trucks) properly.
