Commissioning Home Manager required for a brand new care home in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Set to open in Spring 2025 the home is designed to deliver the highest standards of personalised elderly and dementia care.

This is an exciting new opportunity for a motivated and visionary manager to take on a state-of-the-art care home, shaping its operational framework and setting a new standard in dementia care.

As the Commissioning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new care home from its inception. You'll have the autonomy to create a nurturing environment where residents and their families feel supported, and where a culture of excellence thrives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead a passionate and high-performing team to provide exceptional, person-centred care.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, ensuring seamless day-to-day management.
  • Drive quality and compliance, maintaining outstanding standards in line with CQC and internal benchmarks.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
  • Effectively manage budgets, balancing financial goals with quality care delivery.
  • Forge connections with local healthcare professionals and community groups to enhance the home's profile.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience within dementia or elderly care, ideally with private care expertise.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing cohesive teams.
  • Deep understanding of dementia care and regulatory frameworks.
  • A compassionate, resident-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary:
  • Starting from £60,000 + (negotiable based on experience)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
