Role Responsibilities

As Tax Manager, you’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality tax advisory services and managing a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Tax Partner with advisory services for the firm’s OMB client base
  • Delivering tax advice on areas such as succession planning, restructuring, and corporate tax
  • Managing assignments involving HMRC enquiries, IHT, CGT, and employee incentivisation schemes
  • Liaising with HMRC, lawyers, and other third parties to resolve tax queries
  • Supporting the wider tax team, including compliance reviews and collaboration with Audit colleagues
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Managing deadlines and multiple projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery

Candidate Requirements
  • Fully CTA qualified preferred, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in private client tax within practice
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal and business tax legislation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff is advantageous
