My Client is recruiting for a Production Manager in the Water Sector
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring high-quality output, and leading a team of workers to meet production targets. You will be a key player in optimizing efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and control the production schedule for each job
- implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet objectives
- analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems
- determine and implement improvements to the production process
- prepare and maintain production reports
- estimate production costs
- maintaining stock levels for production
- ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
- Create, maintain and improve procedures that are consistent with the company's ISO 9001:2015 quality standard and Business Management System.
- To comply with the company's Health & safety policy & procedures, and take reasonable care of your own and others safety who may be affected by your work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- [Optional] a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
- [Optional] Experience with Sage system
