Role Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Providing tax planning advice, including self-assessment tax returns and dividend/remuneration planning for directors
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on accounts, taxation, and financial processes
- Managing and developing strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and support
- Reviewing VAT returns prepared by the bookkeeping team
- Providing mentoring and leadership to junior staff, supporting their growth and development
- Handling ad-hoc accounting and advisory work, responding to client needs and business opportunities

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a client management role within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
- Experience in financial systems, budgeting, data analysis, and auditing
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify client challenges and provide tailored solutions
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing a team
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
