Our client is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join their growing team and support their mission. They are growing and expanding, so this role comes with great progression opportunities - it is a full-time and permanent role, based on the outskirts of Lincoln. They offer hybrid working and a competitive starting salary of between £28000 and £30000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and best practices.
- Assist the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organisation.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
- Provide training and development support to employees and managers, identifying training needs and coordinating relevant programmes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in HR.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
