Join Our Clients Team as a Trainee Manufacturing/Precision Engineering Worker!

Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of complex metal components, the operations are global, and they supply products to prestigious customers worldwide.

Initially 2 shifts, transitioning to a permanent nightshift role after training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the safe manufacturing of products in line with specifications to meet quality standards
  • Adhere to all safety and quality processes and procedures
  • Ensure high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
  • Input and modify programmes on computer controls
  • Organise die and tool storage and heat dies for production
  • Undertake fettling, painting of billets, and shotblasting duties
  • Carry out repairs to dies and tools during production
  • Ensure customer specifications are achieved by checking dimensions against process sheets or sketches
  • Perform inspections of manufactured components
  • Brand and record part and serial numbers
  • Clean work areas and maintain equipment as required
  • Assist with the introduction of new/modified parts
