DB Charles Recruitment are working on a new brilliant opportunity with an exciting business based in Lincoln for a Junior Software Engineer, back end focussed to join an established team on a permanent basis.

The business have a well known name and reputation within the Private Healthcare industry and they hope to attract candidates enthused by the prospect of joining their team and furthering their careers.

The role will sit amongst a large development team of circa 25 - 30 people, reporting into a team leader and the Software Engineering head, with day to day duties including:

  • Writing Rest API's
  • Back end focussed work
  • Maintain SQL databases
  • Developing solutions
  • Business migration projects
  • Staying up to date with current and emerging technologies
  • Liaising with other internal team departments
  • Plus many others

Candidates considered for the role will be required to have a number of the below skill-sets and experiences:

  • Degree graduate in Computer Science / Programming preferable
  • Degree focused towards IT or a relevant subject supporting the role preferable
  • Experience and knowledge of C# & .NET
  • Experience and knowledge of SQL
  • Additional knowledge of API / Azure / Git / Agile would be highly advantageous however not essential
  • Highly motivated
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Ideally based in Lincoln or the close surrounding areas and is happy to commit to a role based in Lincoln with hybrid working on offer. You will be required to be in the office 3 days per week.

The client is working with DB Charles Recruitment closely to successfully recruit the right candidate and are looking to pay a salary dependent of experience between £25,750 to £31,000 per annum. The role will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm and other additional benefits on offer with the role will include:
