Special Needs Teaching Assistant Responsibilities- Support Learning: Assist in the educational and social development of students with special needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Personalised Care: Provide personalised support, adapting activities and materials to meet individual learning styles and needs.
- Encourage Independence: Promote the development of self-confidence and independence in our students.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor Progress: Track and report on student's progress, ensuring they are meeting their educational goals.
- Professional Development: Continuous training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.
- Supportive Environment: A welcoming and supportive school community where your contributions are valued.
- Impactful Work: The opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and empathy are essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Education: A relevant qualification in special education, teaching assistance, or childcare is preferred but not essential.
