Are you a detail-driven Stock Accountant looking to make an impact in a high-growth, UK-wide business? We are looking for a commercially astute finance professional with expertise in managing large volumes of stock across multiple sites.

This position does require adhoc travel to sites across the UK.

About the Role

As our Stock Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing stock valuation, reconciliation, and reporting across our rapidly expanding network. You'll work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and financial integrity in all stock-related processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile stock across multiple locations, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Analyse stock movements, variances, and trends to drive efficiencies
  • Work with warehouse and operational teams to improve stock accuracy
  • Oversee stock accounting processes, including month-end and year-end reporting
  • Implement and enhance stock control procedures to minimise losses and discrepancies
  • Provide key insights and reporting to senior stakeholders
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong stock management experience
  • Proven background in managing large-scale stock across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of stock accounting principles, stock valuation & reconciliations
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across finance, operations, and supply chain functions
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments preferred
