Senior Accounts Assistant / £30,000 - £35,000 / Wavertree / Hybrid / Temporary on-going (could go permanent)Adaptable Recruitment are working with a growing business in the Wavertree area who are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent contractPackage:

  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000
  • 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • 3pm finish on Fridays
  • Hybrid working pattern - 2 days from home

Location: WavertreeJob Duties:

  • Oversee and manage finance inbox, ensuring timely and organised responses.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding payments, addressing queries and sending out account statements as needed.
  • Support the accurate maintenance and updating of the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring data integrity.
  • Accurately allocate payments to customer accounts, ensuring correct processing and record-keeping.
  • Input and process supplier invoices into the accounting system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough reconciliations of supplier accounts, resolving discrepancies and addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate the processing and approval of employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records and identify any discrepancies.

  • Prior experience in a similar transactional accounting role is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked up to the trial balance stage
