Asbestos Surveyor - Liverpool, Northwest

30,000 - 42,000 + Company Car

Our client is a successful independently run Asbestos Consultancy who deliver high quality Asbestos surveying, consultancy, and project management services to a broad range of clients in the public and private sector. Due to on-going growth, our client is seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Asbestos Surveyor to join their busy commercial team.

Asbestos Surveyor Experience Required:

  • At least have a BOHS P402 qualification
  • At least one years' experience in a similar role.
  • A company van is included within the package for an asbestos surveyor so having a full UK driving license is mandatory.
  • Having a proficient knowledge of the software used throughout surveys to ensure efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for an Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Management, Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys on various sites
  • To be up to date with asbestos legislation, guidance and industry best practice including UKAS accreditation and quality management arrangements
  • To take personal responsibility for maintaining technical expertise and an awareness of current issues in the sector
  • To take personal responsibility to meet own billing and productivity targets
  • To ensure that the culture of the company is one that is honest and open and values everyone's opinions and contributions
  • To contribute to a culture that is positive about the company
  • To contribute to a culture that enables PCL to be a learning organisation open to challenge and change
