They offer a hybrid model, once training has been completed. You will be joining a large and successful team who pride themselves on the service they provide to both internal and external customers.
Your new role
The position is offered full-time, Monday to Friday with working hours of 09.00am until 17.00pm.
Using a combination of email, live chat and phone calls, the customer service team works closely with customers to address needs and provide effective solutions.
The primary objective of the role is to deliver excellent service to customers by delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions. The team is expected to collaborate effectively with colleagues in other areas of the business to increase internal efficiencies and provide significantly improved service quality.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to
Liaise with customers to provide a high-quality customer experience via telephone, live chat, emails and cases.
Work closely with customers to support their enquiries, understand their needs and proactively provide solutions.
Support customers in the planning of new business in cooperation with the sales team.
Handle shipment-related internal & customer exceptions.
Ensure cost recovery for exceptional-cost items in a timely manner.
Prevent revenue leakage by ensuring timely communication with customers and follow up on additional services.
Build expertise in all topics related to shipping documentation.
Follow standard operating procedures and new process requirements as and when communicated.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the department's Key Performance Indicators and proactively strive to achieve them.
What you'll need to succeed
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
At least 2 years' experience in shipping or similar
Very personable and professional
Ability to speak with clients and customers at all levels
Strong attention to detail
