Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Are you a graduate looking to gain school based experience before embarking on a career in teaching or the education sector?

Milk Education are currently working with Primary schools throughout North Liverpool that are looking to appoint Graduates. You will be working with students that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress.
You will have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.
We are looking for aspiring teachers who have graduated in any of the following categories;
MathsEnglishScienceHumanities (History, Geography, RE)LanguagesArt and DesignPsychology or Social SciencesSport & Physical ActivityOpen to any subject

Key criteria:
Must have a university degree 2:2 or abovePrevious experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essentialClear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the futureMust be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two yearsWillingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
