About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the Huyton. The ideal candidate will be confident in both Mathematics and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support classroom teachers with daily activities and help maintain a stimulating classroom atmosphere.
  • Encourage student independence and self-confidence.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (desirable).
  • Previous experience working with young people.
  • Confidence in Mathematics and English.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.
