Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support a dynamic and caring educational environment. This role will be based in a supportive school that is committed to providing high-quality education to students with diverse needs. The school is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible individual to join their team on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to students, helping them engage with learning activities and achieve their potential.
  • Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and the delivery of lessons.
  • Support students with individual learning needs, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as required by the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Be patient, compassionate, and able to adapt to the varying needs of students.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be flexible and able to take on ad-hoc assignments with short notice.
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
