Interim Finance Business Partner - Liverpool City Centre

12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Up to £50,000 DOE

I am delighted to be working alongside one of Liverpool's most well-known companies in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This role will initially be for 12 months, though there could be chance for extension.

You will be based in Liverpool City Centre and will work a flexible hybrid model following initial training. You will be joining a well-established, high-performing finance team.

My client are looking for a a Finance Business Partner who can really improve the ethos of business partnering across the organisation - somebody who understands the importance of delivering quality service and maintaining great relationships.

Key duties of this role will include:

  • Producing management accounts and financial information for the relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and developing the annual budget, forecasting models and other statistical/statutory information at functional level in conjunction with the relevant Directors, senior management teams and finance.
  • Building a strong understanding of the project fundings, accounting and timing variances.
  • Developing and maintaining financial control processes at local level to ensure maximum value for money is obtained in line with business requirements.
  • Act as a financial advisor to the Stakeholders, Directors and Senior Managers across all business functions of the Operating Company and their respective teams.

  • A qualified or part-qualified finance professional with a minimum of 2 years' business partnering experience
  • A candidate with brilliant Excel skills
  • Somebody with experience presenting difficult financial reporting to non-finance managers
