We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an Interim Group Finance Director to join a leading Financial Services organisation based in the North West. This is a 12-month contract, offering a competitive salary of £175,000 - £200,000, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.

The Role

As the Interim Group Finance Director, you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing a large team across multiple locations in the UK. Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver a comprehensive business plan with clear KPIs to support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the group's complexbudget, including planning, forecasting, and financial governance to ensure value for money and shared accountability.
  • External Reporting: Lead statutory and regulatory reporting, covering group financial statements and external audits.
  • Tax and Compliance: Oversee tax affairs, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks effectively.
  • Leadership and Culture: Inspire a large & diverse team across multiple locations
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Accountant with a proven track record of senior financial leadership.
  • Significant experience in Financial Services
  • Expertise in managing complex group structures, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board level.
