?? Job Opportunity: Purchasing / Admin Support Role - £25,000 | Knowsley ??

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking for an exciting new opportunity in purchasing and administration? We have the perfect role for you! Our client is seeking a Purchasing / Admin Support candidate to join their expanding business. They manufacture products on site and deliver bespoke products across the UK. Client base ranges from small SME's to large organisations such as Liverpool FC.

Position: Purchasing / Admin SupportSalary: £25,000 per annumLocation: Knowsley

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Commercial team with orders, supplier coordination, and inventory management
  • Managing administrative tasks such as maintaining records, handling enquiries, and data entry
  • Using 2 systems (including Sage) to input auto entries, ensuring all commercial orders are correctly inputted
  • Completing requisition requests
  • Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
  • Providing holiday cover for internal departments such as taking payments for cash orders
  • Supervising apprentice purchase ledger clerk and assisting with duties
  • Supporting day-to-day office activities to ensure efficient workflow

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in purchasing or admin support (essential) and knowledge of purchase ledger (desirable)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Sage (desirable)
