Are you passionate about Computer Science and eager to make a real difference in young lives? We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team at a specialist Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) secondary school in Liverpool. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position starting in March 2025.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEMH needs.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our dedicated staff team to develop individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Inspire students to develop their digital literacy and programming skills.


As a Computer Science Teacher, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialization in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Experience (or willingness to work) with students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Passion, patience, and creativity to engage and motivate learners.
