The School and Role

Vision for Education are working with a popular and successful Bootle Primary school wish to appoint an experienced, minimum Level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioner to work within their 2-year-old room on a full-time basis.  This role will start in November 2024 and continue through the academic year.  The school are looking for a proactive and engaging EYFS Teaching Assistant with a strong knowledge of the needs of nursery aged children and a passion for supporting children within the 2's room as well as F1/F2.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and eager to contribute to the broader life of the school, with a passion for helping each child reach their full potential in preparation for foundation stage - You will be imaginative and proactive when supporting the children. 
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm.

Requirements

The desired Early years practitioner will have;

  • Experience of working within early years, from either private or school based nursery settings
  • A dedicated early years qualification, minimum level 2
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
