We are seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer in Liverpool on a full-time, temporary contract, commencing from 20th January 2025.

Your new role

  • Responsible for investigating, managing and resolving your own caseload of ASB, nuisance and other tenancy breaches including hate crime & domestic violence
  • Preparing legal paperwork including witness statements & court applications, gathering evidence and intelligence
  • Self-representing in court where required and preparing witnesses for attendance at court
  • Implementing early intervention tools such as mediation referrals and ABC's
  • Liaising with customers, witnesses, perpetrators and victims
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, Solicitors and other legal experts to ensure a strong multi-agency approach
  • Representing the group at multi-agency meetings and responding to complaints & queries from local Councillors

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working within a housing/tenancy enforcement environment, with a good knowledge of relevant housing legislation including ASB, crime and disorder
  • Aware of sector best practice and best practice in safeguarding adults & children
  • Experience and understanding of relevant legal paperwork, taking witness statements and self-representation in court
  • Experience of liaising with Solicitors and other legal experts
  • Driving licence with valid business insurance and access to own vehicle
