The role
We are actively seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant. An ideal candidate for the position would bean enthusiastic finance professional looking to kick-start or further develop their career in a fast-moving international business where they will be supported to learn and develop their accountancy experience.
The Finance Assistant is expected to, but not restricted to:
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Register Purchase invoices
- Maintain and report on margin reports
- Posting & Reconciling payments
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supplier Reconciliations
- Assisting with the VAT returns
- Processing payments to suppliers
- Management and resolution of key invoicing & credit control issues
- Assistingwith month end duties
- Monthly payment runs
To succeed in the role you will need the following:
- Experience in a similar role with a passion for our business.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box to identify ways to improve processes
- Skilled user of MS packages, most specifically Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to situations in a fast growing business
