- Candidates should have an Engineering Degree, preferably in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 4 years relevant experience gained within an engineering business.
- Design of forgings, tools and dies to meet customer requirements and within the Company's capabilities.
- Production of all necessary drawings and documentation to support, as well as the recommendation and implementation of any system modifications.
- Responsible for compiling working manuals and records to allow forging operations to be effectively carried out.
- Prior experience within a design role, strong knowledge of 3D CAD software (preferably Creo) and Forge Simulation.
- Familiarity with metals and basic metallurgy knowledge would be advantageous and you must have strong IT skills, to include Mini Tab and preferably Power BI.
- You will need to be organised, confident, energetic and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to working.
- You must also have outstanding communication skills, be goal oriented with a positive working attitude.
