Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, including Ltd Companies, Partnerships, and Sole traders.
  • Answer client queries, calls, meetings and ad-hoc touch points; meetings and calls with new clients as required
  • Preparation of personal Tax returns including appointments with the client
  • Preparation of corporation tax calculations and returns
  • Accounts preparation (Sole Trader, Partnership, Limited etc.); Finalisation of Accounts/Final reviews to send to clients.
  • Preparation of information for P11d purposes
  • Assist with supervision and training of the team in Accounts Preparation
  • Ad-hoc compliance work as required
  • Dealing with HMRC Correspondence and queries as required
  • Other client assignments as required by client requests

Skills and Experience:

  • Fully ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong understanding of UK accounting practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice setting
  • Ability to manage relationships with clients, offering them expert financial guidance and solutions.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior accountants or finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
