Role Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs, corporate groups, and international businesses
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or nearing qualification)
  • Previous experience leading audits in a UK-based accountancy firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client and team relationships
  • Proven ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
