Financial Controller - Private Equity-Backed Market Leader, Central London, £95k + Bonus

The Role:
As Head of Controllership, you'll spearhead a multinational team overseeing monthly reporting, consolidation, audits, internal controls, and financial analysis across international operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll work closely with senior leadership to drive financial and operational improvements company-wide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and develop a global team of eight finance professionals, ensuring timely, accurate reporting across regions.
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Drive the monthly reporting cycle, consolidate regional reports, and ensure adherence to IFRS and corporate policies.
- Audit Oversight: Lead the global audit process, liaising with external auditors and regional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Build and maintain strong internal controls and support continuous improvement with local teams.
- Intercompany Management: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, collaborating closely with country controllers.
- Financial Analysis: Deliver strategic insights for FP&A and executive leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Policy Optimisation: Shape and refine financial policies, improving reporting accuracy and streamlining processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside the CFO, Head of FP&A, and other senior leaders to advance key initiatives and strategic planning.
- Systems Oversight: Manage financial systems, including ERP and consolidation tools, and lead a major ERP implementation planned for 2025.
About You:
- ACA or CA qualified with a strong track record in management.
- Expertise in UK GAAP/IFRS, intercompany processes, and internal control frameworks.
- Solid experience in multi-entity consolidation, financial analysis, and working with international teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Dynamics experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish (desirable, not essential).
