Ideal for someone inquisitive, able to work independently and with strong attention to detailThis is a permanent role based in the business Central London office with some travel to other sites across the UK (Lincoln and Norwich areas) Financial Controller - The Role

  • Overseeing smooth daily financial operations
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, working closely with the Group Finance Director
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Acting as the key contact for the parent company, aligning financial processes and reporting
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow and working capital
  • Overseeing audits, payroll, VAT, and tax filings
  • Supporting any financial system rollouts and process improvements
  • Providing insights and recommendations for business decisions
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Financial Controller - The Person

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Part/fully-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent or QBE
  • Similar service-based industry experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Available immediately or on short notice
