My client, a growing production company based in Central London(Hybrid working available) are recruiting a pro-active and flexible Production Accountant to join their Finance department and support the growth of the group.

This position will report to the Financial Controller, working in close relation with the production teams. The production accountant will interact closely with various departments across the company and you will have a strong background in project-based accounting.

This key appointment will be ensuring that a robust financial and commercial control environment is maintained, which will play a significant part in the continuing growing success of the business.

Key Duties

  • Assisting the Head of Finance with preparation of monthly management reports
  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with Account Directors/Producers
  • Ensuring accurate financial control of all production costs
  • Applying correct revenue recognition policy for productions
  • Reviewing, approving and analysing monthly timesheets
  • Post-production project reconciliation
  • Taking ownership of Accounts Receivable
  • Creating ad hoc reports
  • Assist with Audit information

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proficient with Xero
