Revenue Accountant - Immediate start 

Contract Term: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent or straight permanent Location: London (with remote working options)Start Date: ASAP

My client a global growing Management Consultancy are currently seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is ready to take charge of the group-wide revenue accounting process. The successful candidate will be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of revenue accounting and NetSuite.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the group-wide revenue process, ensuring accurate month-end close activities.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure project-related data in the CRM system is current.
  • Handle revenue-related NetSuite system tasks and prepare group and entity revenue reconciliations.
  • Conduct Cost of Sales analysis.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for revenue accounts, including deferred income, accrued income, and prepayments.
  • Post necessary journals, including intercompany transactions.
  • Lead project changes impacting revenue management information and post any required NetSuite transactions.
  • Develop training manuals/process guides for the revenue accounting process.
  • Conduct training sessions to upskill the finance team.
  • Propose improvements to the control environment as appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, including Advanced Revenue Management, is advantageous.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
