Revenue Accountant
- Contract Term: Full-time temporary to permanent or permanent (Temporary inside IR35 for Payroll purposes)
- Location: London (with remote working options)
- Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. Based in London, this role is perfect for a highly motivated individual who is ready to take charge of the group-wide revenue accounting process. The successful candidate will be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of revenue accounting and NetSuite.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee the group-wide revenue process, ensuring accurate month-end close activities.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure project-related data in our CRM system is current.
- Handle revenue-related NetSuite system tasks and prepare group and entity revenue reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for revenue accounts, including deferred income, accrued income, and prepayments.
- Cost of sales analysis
- Post necessary journals, including intercompany transactions.
- Lead project changes impacting revenue management information and post any required NetSuite transactions.
- Develop training manuals/process guides for the revenue accounting process.
- Conduct training sessions to upskill the finance team.
- Propose improvements to the control environment as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Knowledge of NetSuite, including Advanced Revenue Management, is advantageous.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
