About the accountancy firmPentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and evolving Top 50 Accountancy Firm in the City of London to recruit for a Senior Accountant. You will be joining an expanding business services team where you be challenged, supported and able to develop your skill set. Our client pride themselves in going above and beyond providing exceptional service to their varied client portfolios.
Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Senior Accountant you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Serving as a main point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders.
- Providing advice and support on financial matters.
- Preparing year end accounts and managements accounts (50:50).
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Reviewing and mentoring junior staff members.
- Utilising software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
- Working on ad-hoc projects when required.
Qualifications and skills requiredIn order succeed as a Senior Accountant you will:
- Be ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Have experience carrying out the full accounts production process.
- Have to ability to work to budgets.
- Have excellent communication and management skills.
- Ideally have knowledge of Pro-audit and CCH.
