Senior Accountant - Top 50 Firm

Up to £55,000 DOE

Simpson Judge have partnered with one of our closest clients to find them a qualified Senior Accountant to join their office in central London. Working in the accounts team under the supervision of a manager and partner, your time will effectively be split 50% on year end accounts and 50% on management accounts; as well as preparing draft tax computations. You will be working on a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders.

What will you be doing?

  • Production of financial statements together with well-presented working papers ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Serve as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters.
  • Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.

What we're looking for?

  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Able to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
  • Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible attitude, with ability to priorities workloads.
  • Knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH and Microsoft Office Products desirable.
