Our client is a rapidly growing PE backed Telecoms & Technology business. Due to continued growth they need to expand their Management Accounting team and require a Senior Management Accountant. This role will be responsible for the financial reporting and support for all revenue verticals, cost of sales and associated gross margin. The key responsibilities include:* Responsible for production and reporting of revenue and gross margin across all verticals in the Group, as well as providing detailed analysis of / insight into the revenue variances against budget.* Maintain revenue related records including the deferred and accrued revenue schedules, as well as reporting of figures associated with revenue such as revenue share* Be the subject matter expert for all revenue and IFRS15 topics, including but not limited to contract modifications and sales incentives* Liaise with Commercial and Contracts teams to ensure revenue is recognised accurately in line with customer contracts and support the teams in understanding the reported revenue.* Report Sales and Delivery KPIs and liaise with the Sales team and Delivery team to ensure that the KPIs are accurately reported.* Responsible for reporting cost of sales, including calculating accruals and prepayments, and providing detailed analysis of month end results and comparison to budget. Understanding and clearly explaining all significant variances including wider implications of variances/trends identified* Responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts.* Provide support and explanations to auditors for all areas of responsibility, for statutory audit, due diligence workstreams, and any other audit work that may arise.* Play a key role in the yearly budgeted exercise and any reforecasts during the year working closely together with the relevant counterparts in the Commercial Finance team, ensure knowledge is shared, budget assumptions challenged and overall contribute to improve the accuracy and quality of the information.The successful applicant with be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA) or equivalent with a first class academic background. You will have a demonstrable background in the preparation of the management accounts, strong knowledge of IFRS15, be an advanced user of MS Excel along with having excellent communication skills. Advantageous would be the ability to use Oracle NetSuite and SalesForce
