As a Private Client Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored tax advice and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations. You will have the opportunity to oversee and mentor junior staff, while also collaborating with senior management on more complex tax planning matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of private clients, providing advice on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and estate planning.
- Reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance with UK tax laws.
- Assisting with the preparation of more complex tax planning projects.
- ? Mentoring and developing junior staff members.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing proactive advice.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and their implications for clients.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in UK Private Client Tax, within a practice environment.
- Skills:Â Strong technical knowledge of UK tax law, particularly in relation to private client tax matters (income tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, etc.).
- Qualifications:Â ATT/CTA Student
- Personal Attributes:Â Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
