Working within the Academic Registry, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of examination boards, compliance with assessment regulations, and quality assurance procedures.As the Assessment and Regulations Officer, you will:
  •  Organise and support examination boards, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  •  Minute examination board meetings and manage system access for students and staff.
  • Support coursework submission processes, assessment administration, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with examination and assessment regulations.
  • Manage mark entry, progression, and award data.
  • Act as the first point of contact for external examiners and ensure they understand institutional regulations.
  • Communicate results, feedback, and assessment procedures to students.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support the examination and assessment prize process.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to student assessment and coursework processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Advanced excel skills e.g. formulas.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide excellent service to students and staff.
