Overview

We are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Administrator to support a team of 5 within this specialised European Law firm based in Central London. This position is suitable for a graduate holding a relevant degree or suitable interest in business development looking for their first step into a BD / Marketing role. Previous admin experience is preferred but not essential. Full on the job training will be provided.

Duties

  • Essential administration for the BD and marketing team including updating and managing diaries and setting up meetings for other members of the team.
  • Administering firm’s CRM (client database) ensuring data is accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Monitoring and managing the subscriptions and registrations mailbox.
  • Ensuring client conflict information is accurate and up to date.
  • Event administration, including arranging and planning meetings, monitoring registrations, maintaining CRM data, and the production of reports.
  • Assisting with pitch administration.
  • Updating, and creating PowerPoint presentations for both the BD team and other members of the firm.
  • Updating website biography and organising fee-earner photograph sessions.
  • Carrying out research for potential events for fee-earners to attend.
  • Occasional travel to other offices within the UK.

To make a successful application you will:

  • Hold a relevant degree (ideally 2.1 or above.)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Be able work independently and complete routine tasks without supervision.
  • Be accurate and methodical and adopting a logical approach to tasks.
  • Have experience working to and meeting tight deadlines in an administrative environment.
  • Have the ability to work through high volumes of work at pace whilst maintaining accuracy and adhering to processes and associated standard templates/documents.
  • Be able to prioritise and manage fluctuating workloads, demands and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to high levels of service to internal and external clients.
