Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's leading literacy charities to recruit a Business Support and Projects Coordinator. This is a key role within the partnerships team, supporting the delivery of books, resources, and practitioner support across the UK.

As Business Support and Projects Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the partnerships team, ensuring the smooth flow of information between teams and external partners. You will manage data, oversee CRM systems, coordinate projects, and provide administrative support to key stakeholders. You will also work on early years programmes, supporting project delivery and cross-organisational initiatives.

Business Support and Projects Coordinator

Location: Hybrid - London office (8 days per month)

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data and information related to programme delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the development of CRM systems and partner portals to improve information flow.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Provide project coordination support for early years workstreams, including governance reporting.
  • Assist in team meetings, actions, risk logs, and project updates.
  • Support fundraising efforts by coordinating relevant data and partner information.
  • Work closely with local authority partners, ensuring they are informed of key organisational priorities.

Person Specification:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in business support, operations, or project coordination.
  • Strong data management and CRM system experience.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the charity sector or working with local government (desirable).
