A highly likeable UK Law firm admired around the world is seeking a Legal PA in Disputes.

Salary - £42,000

Location - City of London

Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal PA to join a friendly and supportive Dispute Resolution department providing first-class professional support at partner level and to the rest of the team.

It is an absolute must that the Legal PA has strong secretarial skills, coupled with a can-do attitude. The firm are also renowned for promoting from within and giving you the chance to flourish. Experience within Dispute Resolution or Litigation is highly desirable but don't let that dissuade you if your legal knowledge lies elsewhere.

For an idea of some the Legal PA duties involved, please see the list below:

  • Effective and proactive diary management, and awareness of Fee Earners' workloads to plan ahead
  • Arranges travel and any other activities on behalf of others, where appropriate
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and understanding of Fee Earners' matters to enable a proactive support service
  • Provides excellent service to clients, both internal and external, in a timely and professional manner, presenting a positive image of the Firm at all times
  • Provides assistance in the delivery of marketing communications, and records all business development meetings in InterAction
  • Organises business development meetings and events for Fee Earners, and assists in the production of business development materials in liaison with the Marketing team
  • Creates typed work of a high quality, formatting in accordance with house style, at high speed, with accuracy
  • Makes effective use of the Document Management System
  • Proactively uses initiative to compose and send on behalf of Fee Earners, correspondence requiring focused concentration and attention to detail
  • Prepares bills (including bill narratives) with minimal supervision, as required by Fee Earners
  • Prepares AML documentation and obtains relevant documentation from clients in a timely manner, as required by Fee Earners
  • Carries out conflict searches
