Actual pro-rata salary £10,655 to £11,314Central LondonTHE COMPANY: A collaborative network of over 450 schools and colleges, dedicated to achieving excellence in mathematics education. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a programme funded by the Department for Education and coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics. As a Targeted Support Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to schools requiring further improvement in their maths provision.THE ROLE:
  • Professional Growth: Engage in a role that supports high-quality professional development in mathematics education, contributing to the improvement of maths provision in schools.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside the Programme Manager, Maths Hub Lead, Communications Manager, and a community of Assistant Maths Hub Leads and Local Leaders of Maths Education.
  • Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in a programme funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), aimed at nurturing the mathematicians of tomorrow
  • Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a part-time role with a manageable workload, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Boards and Partnerships: Support the Strategic Board with administrative tasks, including updating contact details, arranging meetings, and managing communication platforms.
  • Local Leaders of Mathematics Education (LLME): Assist in updating key information documents, issuing reminders, and providing administrative support.
  • Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation: Maintain and update event calendars, process data, and ensure accurate data management.
  • Finance and Data Management: Update finance details, maintain participant data, and support the Programme Manager during audits.
  • Communications: Send event reminders, provide information to NCETM/DFE, and participate in national forums.
  • Targeted Support in Mathematics (TSM): Provide administrative support to the Assistant Maths Hub Lead and complete school referral forms.
  • Leadership and Management Team: Ensure efficient processes and provide administrative support as required.
THE PERSON:Skills and Experience Required:
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong data entry and general administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
